What Makes Us Special
About the Owner – Jaclyn Moore, LPN
With over 15 years of experience as a licensed nurse, Jaclyn Moore has dedicated her career to serving seniors with compassion, clarity, and clinical expertise. For the past decade, she traveled the country working with some of the nation's largest and most respected senior living organizations. Her journey through a wide range of communities and care settings gave her a deep understanding of the inner workings of the industry—far beyond the surface-level appeal of beautiful buildings.
Jaclyn has developed a keen ability to quickly identify both quality care and areas of concern. Her clinical background allows her to assess communities not just by their appearance or reputation, but by the standard of care provided behind the scenes. Families often comment on how she sees what others may miss—her insight brings comfort and peace of mind during what can be an emotional and overwhelming process.
After years on the road, Jaclyn made the decision to return to her roots and be closer to family. Inspired by a passion to continue serving seniors in a more personal and impactful way, she founded Caring 4 Seniors—a senior living placement service focused on advocacy, education, and truly personalized support.
More than just a placement expert, Jaclyn is a trusted advisor. She takes the time to understand each client's medical needs, emotional well-being, lifestyle preferences, and family dynamics. Her ability to blend clinical knowledge with heartfelt compassion sets her apart. She is known for anticipating questions before they’re asked and guiding families through each step with patience and integrity.
If you are navigating the senior living journey and looking for someone who combines professional excellence with genuine care, Jaclyn Moore is the advocate you want by your side.

Assessment
Complete an assessment for specific care or level-of-care needs, lifestyle, and desires to determine the best senior living option. This includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

Options
We are seasoned to give you all of your options. We have a current database of facilities licensed and regulated by the Florida Department of Health Services. Caring for Seniors can scale down the options available to help you make the best decision based on finances and individual care needs.

Personal Relationship with Communities
We are very familiar with each senior care community in the area. In addition, we have a personal and courteous relationship with the administrative staff at these communities. Most important, we know the reputation and safety of the communities.

Personal Guided Tour
We will take you on a guided tour of the community and can answer any questions you have and help you to make the best decision on placement.

Complete Paperwork
We will help facilitate completion of all necessary paperwork including helping obtain required documents.

Negotiation
Our excellent reputation and skills allow us to help negotiate entrance/monthly fees at given communities.

Long-Term Care Insurance
We can help you speak to your insurance company, on behalf of the senior, to help determine and clarify long-term care insurance benefits.

Follow-up
We will personally follow-up with you or your loved one to ensure that the new home selected is meeting their needs.

A Free Service
Only work with a senior placement agency which provides these services at no cost to you.

Provide Referrals
Caring for Seniors can also refer you to: in-home care; moving companies; home health; elder law attorneys; estate planners; veteran’s assistance; dementia training; medical services; and skilled nursing homes.
Our Three Easy Steps
Step 1
We will meet or talk on the phone with you or a family member to assess your needs. Next, we’ll discuss what changes are going on in your life, then we will help determine what type of senior living and/or care you may need.
Step 2
We will discuss your finances to help fit you with the appropriate community that fits your budget. We will also discuss financial resources that can save you money if you qualify. We include your family members and those you want to assist you with your decision making.
Step 3
We will discuss the area/location you are most interested in living. Once that is determined, we’ll choose 3-4 communities to tour in a day. We will schedule tours for you and your loved ones and accommodate you to see the options we have chosen. We will be with you every step of the way to ensure you make the best decision. All at no cost to you.

Housing Options
Independent Living
Independent Living is ideal for seniors who are looking for socialization and freedom from housekeeping, laundry, transportation, and preparing meals. The larger apartment style communities have a “hotel” feel.
They customarily have a community dining room, with wait staff to take orders. They also have a beauty salon, vans or buses for transportation, and community areas such as library, TV room, gym, medical clinic and a variety of activities, lectures and outings to choose from. Apartments vary in sizes from studios to two bedroom, two bath designs. This type of community also offers the option of an emergency call button in all of the rooms.
Independent Living is great for seniors who are on the go and are able to live on their own, but enjoy the shared dining experience and relief from the upkeep of a home or apartment. Offering both worlds: private living along with service that makes your life easier, and activities that encourage daily interaction with neighbors and friends.
We work with a variety of Communities for Independent Living and will present options based on cost, location and personal preference.
Housing Options
Assisted Living
Assisted Living is a popular choice among seniors and their families. Assisted Living communities can be boutique or large offering apartment style living. Group homes are licensed for a maximum of 10.
Assisted Living means just what it says, assistance with daily living or ADL’s. These include bathing, dressing, medication supervision, incontinence care, transferring assistance, etc. Communities often have a secured wing which allows them to care for seniors afflicted with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Group homes are private homes modified to meet state inspection requirements. These smaller homes are particularly good for seniors who need a higher level of care. Residents receive more one-on-one attention because of the ratio of residents to staff. These offer a family environment and have a sense of “home” verses “hotel”.

Housing Options
Alzheimer’s / Memory Care
Memory care is specially designed, maintained, and staffed for people who have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. These communities have unique designs to keep residents safe and secure. Staffing typically has taken special courses and/or seminars on how to care for seniors with behaviors such as aggression, depression and confusion.
The floor plans are typically one level, with level surfaces for walking. Many of the communities have enclosed courtyards for freedom and security, some even have pets for the residents to enjoy. Private or semi-private rooms are available and sometimes preferred to create social interaction with others. Assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, mobility and social interaction is evaluated prior to move in. Like the other options for housing, Alzheimer’s/Dementia care can take place in a large community with a secured area or a group home.
